History

Rudyard Kipling wrote: "If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten." High school history class would capture the minds of everyone if it's stories were told with life and creativity. Not stretching or altering the facts, just filling them out with flesh and bones. If my future historical fiction books are to be among "the best books," they must swim in tangibility.

More history teachers should take a plunge into that pool.
