Golden Corral

Tiffany's parents are in town and came over for a visit this afternoon. They graciously offered to take us out to dinner, so our neighbors kindly agreed to watch and feed the boys so we could go on a double date. I am sad to say it's probably the first real date we've been on since moving to Utah in June. There may have been something else, but I don't recall. Lots of snuggling on the sofa to a movie or TV show, but basically nothing out of the house. But we had fun tonight at the Golden Corral, an all-you-can-eat buffet with lots of really good food. I was actually quite surprised at the variety and quality of options. Not everything was spectacular, but overall it was fantastic, and the service was actually really good too. I know I have pretty low standards since we don't exactly eat out a lot, but we had a very enjoyable time. And it's nice when you not only like, but actually love and admire, your in-laws. Not everyone has the same luxury, but I am blessed in that regard.

Nothing profound tonight, just a realization that I am a very blessed individual, in many, many ways.
